How to steal a perfume
Grasse, 1973: a boy shut in a room that smells of nothing steals his father’s letters; his father is a perfumer. In one, from Santa Cruz, a woman confesses she used up the whole bottle of tuberose and white honey on a stage poison for the neighbour in the turban. Twenty years later, in Paris, the boy films the scene.
