  José Luis Saorín Ferrer's portfolio is not a webpage: it is a surface. A sheet of bone-cream paper where every cv entry — biography, education, projects, texts, the people he has worked with — appears as a geometric figure anchored to a breathing membrane. Concentric circles for biographical strata. Sharp triangles for assumed positions. Thick arcs for long-form narratives. Wedges for discrete events. Spirals for languages acquired. The form does not decorate the entry: it defines it. Geometry is metadata.
  
  There are no menus. You navigate by contact — a finger touches a figure and the content surfaces; it moves and the mesh responds, folds like cloth; you let go and it slowly resettles, never quite returning to its previous position. Between the figures float fragments of the author's own literary corpus — loose phrases the reader can catch by tapping them, like fishing words out of the water.
  
  This is a decision against the cv as a list, against the flatness of the professional document. It is an argument — sustained in composition, in colour, in simulated physics — that philology, software, design and theatre are not separate disciplines that happen to share a profile but a single continuous practice, and that the surface where one introduces oneself ought to demonstrate that from the first instant. Reading is not linear because life is not. The document does not stay still because the person does not.
  
  62 pieces arranged as a constellation across six regions — biography, academic, projects, art, networks, contact — on the cream of the paper, crossed by vermilion, ultramarine, cadmium and ink. The site is hand-built, in four languages. The real version is this one: the one you touch.
